Any Frogs out there?

So, I see that three of you created an author page, but only one person posted on the blog. Hmm. I must try to see how we can improve this ratio. :-D

Ducks

I came in to my clinic today, after being gone for two days I thought there would be nothing going on. Then all of the sudden this box is dropped in front of one of the sinks by Mary Loe (reseptionist). It was a box full of four ducklings! They are so cute! I wanted to take one, but the knew girl Breanna and Heidi are going to foster them. Krystal put them in a dog carrier and they try to stick their bodies threw the holes. They are the fastest baby animals I've ever seen. We opened the cage to put cardboard on the inside of the cage so they wouldnt get stuck thew a hole and it was like "there goes one, no where are they, the third one is missing". ESCAPE! It was very fun.

Foster

HI FROGS! You may remember me talking about a previous class that had the opportunity to take care of a dog that was drug behind a truck? Well, you've all had the chance to meet Foster. That's the dog! When he was with the previous class, we called him Buster cuz he was all busted up. But when he got adopted, they already another pet named Buster, so they changed his name to Foster. (He also answers to Fos.)

I ran into the adopter 2 weekends ago and she recognized me - I didn't even know who she was. She said they were looking for a home for Foster cuz they have a new baby and 4-yr old that is very active, so there's no time for him anymore. Plus, he's taught himself to climb the 6-foot fence! The neighbors would put Fos back in the yard but they're afraid he will get hit by a car and that he really does need more attention. So they brought him by house to see if he got along with my dogs - and he does. So, Sunday evening, they brought him by my house. It's been interesting. He marked everything in the classroom on Monday, instead of holding it, like the owner said he would. I even caught him trying to mark my dining room chair.

Although he's supposed to be a submissive dog, he's more dominant than Charlie already and I think he will be more dominant than Daisy too. He tried to dominate Honey, but that didn't go over so well for him. I hope you guys get a chance to really get to know him like the tadpoles do.

Hope you have an interesting last 4 days - we look forward to having you back!
